This is our home. Our forefathers cultivated this area, teaching us to live harmoniously with nature. Our tribe stretched across the western slope of the Sierra Nevada from the Fresno River to Finegold Creek, and from the Coarsegold Creek to the San Joaquin River.
Today, many of our people are still here and can be found in Coarsegold, the surrounding towns of Oakhurst and Madera and the Fresno-Clovis metropolitan area. Our Tribe aims to preserve our sacred Tribal land by protecting human health and safety, cultural resources, ecosystems and the natural environment.
We are proud to offer the beauty and enjoyment of our resort and casino. They allow us to sustain the health and well being of our elders and nurture and educate our children. We invite everyone to experience our offering. For more information about the Chukchansi Tribe visit
