Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is dedicated to developing strong community ties through financial participation and active involvement with local and regional non-profit organizations and events. This program is designed to assist organizations by providing support, enhance quality of life and focus on the needs of the communities in which we do business. Involvement in an event should support the casino's responsible gaming policy, develop good will and sound relationships, strengthen the casino's relationship with the community and help enhance the business operations of Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino and partner organizations.

Process

Sponsorship and donation requests from organizations within our market and community will be reviewed monthly. When a request is received, notification of the next review date will be sent to the contact person for the requesting organization.

Requests for sponsorship/donations need to be submitted at least 60 to 90 days before the event.

Guidelines

Each request meeting our requirements will be reviewed individually and given equal consideration. Please carefully review these guidelines to ensure your request meets the requirements prior to submission. Proposals that do not contain all of the required information will not be reviewed. If you believe any of the information required is not relevant to your organization, please briefly explain why.

Request Procedure

Requests should be typewritten on letterhead and submitted to:

E-mail requests will not be accepted.

All proposals must be in writing, concise, and contain the following information:

• Full name of organization

• Telephone number

• Fax number and e-mail (if applicable)

• Complete mailing address

• Website address (if applicable)

• Name and title of contact person

• State or local affiliations

• Non-profit or tax identification number

• A brief summary of the organization, including a clear description of its purpose or mission, those who benefit from it, and the geographic area in which it operates

• Details of the event, including its date, purpose, expected attendance and beneficiaries

• Specific sponsorship request (ex: donation amount, auction items desired)

• Names of any Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino team members who are associated with the organization

• Overall campaign objectives

• Details of how Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino and other sponsors/donors will be recognized

• Names of other sponsors/donors and amounts pledged

Funding Categories

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is committed to community involvement supporting local and regional non-profit organizations and will continually explore and consider new and interesting proposals. Please note that approved sponsorship does not necessarily guarantee future support. Some examples of the types of organizations and events providing positive community services that we may support include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Tourism

• Seniors programs

• Recreation events (festivals, parades, sporting events)

• Cultural events

• Events showcasing the Greater Fresno, Madera, or Yosemite areas

Exclusions

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino will not provide support to the following:

• Organizations, projects, events or activities that primarily involve people under 21 years of age

• Multi-year funding requests

• Individuals

• Any event that is risky/dangerous i.e. Motor racing
